What these numbers mean

A matter is one decision, order or notified transaction that the authority has published and that we have read and catalogued. The figures describe our database, not every decision an authority has ever taken: some authorities publish only part of their work.

Under Review counts matters notified or opened where no decision has been published. A matter can fall under more than one type, so the types can add up to more than the total.
